Description
Original print by Félix MEYNET, signed and numbered 30/50 by the artist. Sold framed and under glass.
This black and white artwork captures an intriguing golf-themed scene. Drawn with admirable precision, the illustration shows an elegantly dressed woman in light golf attire, confidently gripping a club. The fine, crisp lines reveal the meticulous attention to detail, particularly in her dynamic and focused posture. Behind her, a golf bag is placed, adding depth to the scene. The contrast between the dark ink colours and the white background creates a powerful visual impact. The artist uses an economy of lines to evoke movement and grace, capturing a fleeting moment before the swing. This drawing, both minimalist and rich in expression, celebrates both sport and femininity, highlighting a unique and modern interpretation of golf. The elegant frame highlights the finesse and intensity of the work.
Presentation
Félix Meynet is a French comic strip author and former ski instructor, born November 26, 1961 in Saint-Jeoire-en-Faucigny. Based in Bellevaux, in Haute-Savoie, he notably created the series Fanfoué des Pnottas, where his characters are part of his region: of popular inspiration, they make fun of tourists, but also local people... His wife Dominique helps with the coloring of the albums.
Meynet also draws several series, including Les Eternels and Sauvage, scripted by Yann. Sauvage and in particular its fifth volume released at the beginning of 2020 earned it very positive reviews.
