Description
A greyscale figure in profile holds a red object, the only vivid colour in the composition. NKSIN plays on this contrast, embroidered on grey velvet that softens the shadows.
Technique: embroidery in 9 colours and 278,972 stitches on grey velvet, made in Lyon, France. Limited edition of 20. Framed dimensions: 44 × 53 cm.
Signed and numbered by NKSIN on the certificate of authenticity on the back. Embroidered in the VANGART workshop in Lyon, which holds the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label (France's official mark of craft excellence).
