Description
This artwork presents a striking black-and-white silhouette of a golfer intently poised for a putt.
The use of sharp contrasts enhances the dynamism of the scene, capturing the precise moment of concentration inherent in the sport. The golfer's form is depicted in bold, clean lines, with particular attention to the bent posture and focused gaze, as if frozen in a critical moment of gameplay. The dark background further accentuates the figure, isolating the golfer in a spotlight of anticipation and tension. The simplicity of colors strips the scene to its essence, emphasizing the elegance and discipline of the sport.
This work uniquely captures the quiet intensity and grace of golfing, making it a compelling study of focus and concentration.
Presentation
JOLANTA BABICZ (born in 1967)
In 2009 she graduated from the Artistic Department of the University of Humanities and Economics in ?ód?. The subject of her B.A. thesis was computer graphic design. She helds a master degree in Fine Arts.
Currently, she is practicing primarily graphics (linocut). She believes that anyone can become a creator of new techniques in graphics, because it is an area in which experiments are still possible. She would also like to try drawing, because she claims the lack of patience for painting. Her biggest inspiration is nature and everything untouched by man, natural. In nature, she is looking for beauty, which then is imprinted in her etchings.
