Description
This striking artwork features a chaotic, swirling central structure, seemingly composed of organic materials and indistinct animal figures. The white background highlights the intricate black lines, creating a dramatic contrast. An upward movement lends the piece a dynamic, almost lifelike energy, as if capturing a constantly evolving vital breath. Fragments escaping upwards evoke birds in flight, adding a touch of freedom and mystery. This bold and detailed composition captivates with its visual intensity and its ability to evoke a range of emotions. Through its elaborate construction and unique expression, it engages the viewer's imagination and compels them to contemplate the ephemeral and complex nature of life itself.
Presentation
Brusk is a French artist born in Saint Priest, near Lyon in 1976. He discovered street art during the 90's and created his initial graffiti work at the Lyon Part Dieu station. Following this, Brusk joined the Fine arts school in Saint Etienne. He graduated and joined DMV (Da Mental Vaporz), a famous crew in Europe. Brusk doesn't only stick to walls, he uses various other mediums like video, computers, photo, canvas...His style has evolved through time and his technical expertise has allowed him to create varied works: figurative, abstract, realist, graphic...A versatile artist, he also does 3D work, handles textile, designs furniture and packaging. His style stands out due to dripping, a technique which gives his work a "dripping or trickling" like aspect. Brusk listens to his inspiration and doesn't convey any message in particular: "to take a path for an open air gallery is an action in itself" says the artist. Brusk became famous due to his creations in the art market. His work "Kiss of Death" was estimated between 7 000 and 9 000 Euros, and was finally sold for 16 000 Euros during an auction in 2015.
