  • About the artwork

    Artwork sold in perfect condition

Type: Lithograph 4 colors printed with Marinoni press lithographic, hand cut and hand finished with acrylic, all the lithographs are different.
    Paper BFK Rives 270 g.

This lithograph comes signed and numbered by the artist and stamped by our printing house.

“The visual of the lithograph is about bitcoin and blockchain. What interests me is that, for the first time, I feel we can live without centralization, I mean, without the banking system and I find it very interesting. I advocate respect in my work, I like equality and I think that, for once, we might reach a system where, through machines, we won’t be able to have this inequality anymore: everyone will have access to the same exchange system without having anybody who can pollute all that, who can steal. It's the "flower power" theme link with the blockchain power. I like this example, where, how in all trading systems, we have come to the fact that human is the polluter, the bad machine in the middle of all that. Thanks to these new technologies, by removing the human and all its faults, we can perhaps aim at something egalitarian.

I am very happy with the lithograph, I have to admit that I’m tired of seeing editions that are computer images printed. In respect of tradition what I find interesting is that this lithograph comes from an original artwork that is printed. I love seeing and feeling this grain, the fact that we can feel the pencil, the nib, the oil painting behind. I'm really happy with this: it's not because we make lithograph that we can’t go back to traditional techniques instead of printing an Illustrator visual and making it an object of decoration.” Ludo

Ludo

France Born in: 1976
Born in 1976, Ludo's work belongs to the street art movement. His curious nature oriented him towards studies in sociology, design and communication in Milan. Today, the artist lives in the city of lights. From an early age, Ludo had a fascination for skateboarding. He approached street art while wandering in the streets of Paris where he started signing his work on the walls, or Tagging.

Famous for his street art practice, he inserts collages of enormous size made of organic and tecnological materials. Insects are a recurrent subject in his work: bursting flowers, skulls, butterflies, bees with gas masks...... with a pencil and his oil paint brush , Ludo combines mechanical and vegetable objects in a perpetual regeneration. The apple green color is a common subject in his paintings. With a meticulous approach, the artist depicts a botanical world in pieces that are between street art and a painting. A garden of eden or a hell but a place where beauty reigns.
