Description
This striking work is a sculpture of swirling lines, composed of a multitude of colorful and layered layers. Vibrant shades, ranging from blue to yellow to pink and green, intertwine to create a captivating visual dynamic. The form of the work, evoking a twisted hourglass, embodies both fluidity and tension. The linear patterns undulate delicately toward the top, drawing the eye into a hypnotic dance of color and form. Each intricately layered layer demonstrates remarkable technical precision. The juxtaposition of vivid hues and organic structure gives this sculpture a contemporary yet timeless dimension, inviting the viewer to contemplate the complexity and beauty of movement. A work that evokes the passage of time while celebrating the richness of chromatic nuances.
Presentation
Fabrice Lettron is a French self-self-taugh artist born in 1965 who lives & works in Montargis, France. He practices the technique of sculpted paper. It consists in gluing several thousands of small pieces of coloured paper manually, then compressing them and once dry, they are sculpted or machined. There is no painting. Colours are those from the paper. Fabrice Lettron creates surrealist and abstract works in 3 dimensions. The virtues of paper leave infinite possibilities to his imagination.
