Description
This intriguing sculpture captivates with its boldly geometric structure and vibrant colors. Crafted in successive layers, it appears carved from multicolored strata reminiscent of a three-dimensional kaleidoscope. Each fold and contour of the work invites the viewer to explore an infinite depth, revealed by the voids and openings at the object's heart. Vibrant shades of pink, blue, yellow, and green blend harmoniously to create a dynamic visual effect that changes depending on the viewing angle. Placed on a simple base, it appears to float, adding a dimension of lightness to the whole. This piece exemplifies a masterful fusion of organized chaos and precise structure, defying artistic conventions while actively engaging the imagination and emotion of its viewer. A masterpiece that highlights the beauty and complexity of contemporary creativity.
Presentation
Fabrice Lettron is a French self-self-taugh artist born in 1965 who lives & works in Montargis, France. He practices the technique of sculpted paper. It consists in gluing several thousands of small pieces of coloured paper manually, then compressing them and once dry, they are sculpted or machined. There is no painting. Colours are those from the paper. Fabrice Lettron creates surrealist and abstract works in 3 dimensions. The virtues of paper leave infinite possibilities to his imagination.
