Description
This captivating work presents a spectacular sculpted mineral, evoking a fossilized tooth of prehistoric origin. The bare surface displays a magnificent white patina adorned with dark veins, reinforcing its ancient and mysterious appearance. The carefully polished interior reveals a striking contrast, gleaming with shades of gray and silver. The exquisite craftsmanship is evident, capturing the raw essence of nature while highlighting the artist's technical skill. The irregular contours and natural fissures add an organic dimension, creating a fascinating dialogue between inside and outside. This ambitious piece stimulates the imagination, inviting the viewer to reflect on the symbiosis between art and nature. It stands as a timeless witness, merging modern aesthetics with an ancient resonance, lending this artifact a universal and enduring appeal.
Presentation
My sculpture evokes the natural world of which we are a part. I illustrate the dynamics of life, organic erasure, and the connection between the skeleton and the fossil.
