Description
This three-dimensional artwork fascinates with its dynamic and colorful composition. Vibrant and bold, it is made up of stacked blocks whose multicolored layers evoke a rapidly expanding, futuristic city. Each module, layered with vibrant hues such as pink, green, yellow, and black, mimics the nuances of a modern rainbow. The asymmetrical and airy structure defies gravity, creating a subtle balance between stability and chaos. The irregular contours of the whole add an almost organic dimension, contrasting with the geometric rigidity of the parallelepipeds. The artwork invites the viewer to consider the interactions between each element, while celebrating harmony in diversity. It is a tribute to architectural creativity and artistic innovation, captivating with its originality and visual complexity.
Created without paint, the colours are those of the paper.
Matte varnish finish
Paper mosaic technique: Superposition of pieces of colored paper glued, compressed, cut into cubes and then assembled into a mosaic.
Presentation
Fabrice Lettron is a French self-self-taugh artist born in 1965 who lives & works in Montargis, France. He practices the technique of sculpted paper. It consists in gluing several thousands of small pieces of coloured paper manually, then compressing them and once dry, they are sculpted or machined. There is no painting. Colours are those from the paper. Fabrice Lettron creates surrealist and abstract works in 3 dimensions. The virtues of paper leave infinite possibilities to his imagination.
