Description
This resin sculpture reinterprets childhood through the prism of contemporary luxury. The Lyon artist uses the reassuring figure of the bear to explore the paradoxes of our society. The contrast is immediate. The softness of the support fades before the omnipresence of high fashion codes.
The work resembles a three-dimensional collage. Iconic logos intertwine on the body of the object. The eye is drawn to the face of a woman, chewing gum on her lips, which brings a relaxed and urban touch. The dominant colors, deep red and glossy black, reinforce the sophisticated aspect of the whole.
The approach is in line with Pop Art. It questions our relationship with brands and consumption. Each visual detail emphasizes a tension between innocence and materialism. This piece, created in 2026, skillfully mixes the aesthetic of fashion and plastic art. The glossy finish of the resin accentuates the relief of the graphic patterns.
Presentation
Naor is a French artist from Lyon born in 1988. Completely anchored in his time, he has always traveled a lot around the world. If travels form youth, Naor was inspired by it. From the top of his thirty years, he succeeded in retranscribing his observations, his feelings and his impressions. Thanks to his childlike supports, his contemporary details, he achieves a delicious harmony between softness and violence. This discrepancy constitutes his identity. Like life, marked by hardship, his works refer us to our own experiences. Finally, the use of luxury brands in a spirit of "Pop'art" allows him to pay homage or to denounce the way our societies function. Naor interprets the world with his child's eyes.
