Description
Presented on an elegant marble pedestal framed in brass, this silver finish sculpture captivates with its mirror-like sheen and decidedly contemporary aesthetic. Representing a bear with iconic lines, it revisits a symbol of innocence by covering it with a multitude of conical points, creating a striking contrast between softness and power.
Its chrome surface captures the light and reflects its surroundings with remarkable intensity, allowing the work to evolve with changing perspectives. Its raised arm gives it a posture that is both playful and expressive, while its silver finish precisely highlights every detail of its relief.
A true collector's piece, this sculpture naturally finds its place on a pedestal, console, or buffet. Its bold design, combined with the nobility of polished chrome, makes it a refined decorative object that fits as well in a contemporary interior as in a more classic setting, where it brings a sculptural, luminous, and decidedly sophisticated touch.
Presentation
Santicri was born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy. Trained as a surveyor and then as an architect, he developed a sensitivity for forms, structures and materials at an early age. This technical rigor, combined with a boundless imagination, naturally led him to sculpture.
Driven by a profound creative freedom, Santicri explores matter, movement, and texture. His works reflect a constant dialogue between construction and emotion, precision and spontaneity. Each piece is born from a poetic impulse, an intuition that the artist shapes to achieve the perfect balance between form and sensation.
Through his work, Santicri invites us into a colorful and sensitive universe, where modernism meets the sweetness of dreams. He seeks to convey what his eyes perceive beyond the visible: a subtle harmony between poetry and structure, between gesture and thought.
