Description
This wall sculpture revisits an industrial faucet by transforming it into a contemporary work with clean lines and striking aesthetics. From a white faucet spout, topped with an emblematic red handle, a single drop of metallic blue flows, suspended in time. Its mirror finish captures the light and creates subtle reflections, accentuating the illusion of a frozen liquid.
The contrast between the matte white, the vivid red, and the deep blue gives the work a strong visual presence, mixing industrial design, pop art, and minimalism. Through its realism and the détournement of an everyday object, it invites reflection on the preciousness of water, the mastery of resources, or even suspended time.
Both elegant and impactful, this creation brings a resolutely contemporary touch to an interior. A true conversation piece, it immediately attracts the eye and transforms a simple faucet into a poetic sculpture, where the material seems to defy the laws of gravity.
Presentation
Santicri was born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy. Trained as a surveyor and then as an architect, he developed a sensitivity for forms, structures and materials at an early age. This technical rigor, combined with a boundless imagination, naturally led him to sculpture.
Driven by a profound creative freedom, Santicri explores matter, movement, and texture. His works reflect a constant dialogue between construction and emotion, precision and spontaneity. Each piece is born from a poetic impulse, an intuition that the artist shapes to achieve the perfect balance between form and sensation.
Through his work, Santicri invites us into a colorful and sensitive universe, where modernism meets the sweetness of dreams. He seeks to convey what his eyes perceive beyond the visible: a subtle harmony between poetry and structure, between gesture and thought.
