Description
This wall sculpture repurposes an industrial faucet into a contemporary work of art with a strong visual impact. From a white faucet, topped with an iconic red handle, an elegant turquoise blue drop with a mirror finish flows, suspended in perfect balance. This fluid form, frozen in time, creates the striking illusion of a liquid in full motion.
The contrast between the immaculate white of the faucet, the intense red of the valve, and the luminous reflections of the metallic blue gives rise to a graphic, clean, and resolutely modern composition. The highly reflective surface of the drop captures the light and its surroundings, making the work evolve with different viewpoints.
At the intersection of pop art, industrial design, and contemporary art, this creation transforms a utilitarian object into a universal symbol. The blue drop naturally evokes water, purity, life, and the preservation of resources, while leaving ample room for the viewer's personal interpretation.
Minimalist, elegant, and bold, this sculpture establishes itself as a true piece of character. Its timeless aesthetic allows it to integrate as well into a contemporary interior as into a professional space or an art collection, where it brings a touch of color, modernity, and poetry.
Presentation
Santicri was born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy. Trained as a surveyor and then as an architect, he developed a sensitivity for forms, structures and materials at an early age. This technical rigor, combined with a boundless imagination, naturally led him to sculpture.
Driven by a profound creative freedom, Santicri explores matter, movement, and texture. His works reflect a constant dialogue between construction and emotion, precision and spontaneity. Each piece is born from a poetic impulse, an intuition that the artist shapes to achieve the perfect balance between form and sensation.
Through his work, Santicri invites us into a colorful and sensitive universe, where modernism meets the sweetness of dreams. He seeks to convey what his eyes perceive beyond the visible: a subtle harmony between poetry and structure, between gesture and thought.
