Description
The energy of street art is embodied in this resin sculpture. A stylized character, headphones on his ears, seems frozen in a moment of sonic contemplation.
Red dominates the composition. This intense hue saturates the silhouette, bringing immediate visual force.
The epoxy painting work creates a marked contrast. The lower body darkens, marked by effects of burns or ashes that anchor the subject in an urban aesthetic.
The character's attitude oscillates between provocation and softness. It embodies modern pop culture, influenced by the world of DJs and creative freedom.
The whole rests on a transparent plexiglass base. This minimalist support elevates the figure while allowing a black, fluid signature to appear.
Realized in 2026, this piece merges the codes of Pop Art and contemporary techniques. The glossy finish of the resin catches the light, highlighting the rounded volumes of the hoodie.
Presentation
Fred Morgan, a French artist born in 1973 in Gap in the Hautes-Alpes region, creates a vibrant and intensely colorful pop universe where sculpture, painting, and digital graphic design intertwine. A rebel with a tender heart, he draws his inspiration from the rock and pop energy of the 80s, as well as the lively culture of DJs. His work subverts conventions, plays with insolence, and asserts total creative freedom. His most emblematic works, often inspired by the provocative "FUCK" motif, humorously and brilliantly question the role of expression and attitude in contemporary art.
An instinctive and resolutely modern artist, Fred Morgan imposes an immediately recognizable style, between assumed impertinence and chromatic joy.
