Description
This abstract artwork captivates with its daring composition of textures and colors. Dominated by a bold, irregular triangular form, it combines striking yellow and subdued earthy tones. The use of industrial materials and dynamic layering is evident, with the incorporation of a rich brown, textured strip and a crumpled, vibrant yellow section. The contrast between the smooth surface of the metal and the rough, tactile nature of the acrylic paint creates a dynamic tension. The piece challenges traditional forms by merging sculptural elements with painterly techniques, highlighting the artist's innovative approach. The interplay of light reflected on the metal versus absorbed by the paint adds depth, transforming the piece with every angle. Presentation
My works play with remains of various, almost all precarious, materials: papers, cardboard, paints, photographs, found objects..., which are combined through a technique that owes a lot to collage. In most cases, the arrangement of the fragments and the randomness of the composition lead the observer into a labyrinth that demands to be interpreted. The confluence of disparate elements resists the inadequacy of a rigid, obsolete system, opening up to a chaos that points towards the configuration of a new order.
