Sarah Bayliss presents a bold and beautiful collection of evocative fine art photographic prints that showcase the contours and sensuality of materials in automotive design. For over a century, cars have shaped our landscape and our relationship with the world. Humans have developed a deep and emotive connection with automobiles through their ability to contribute to our sense of freedom. Whilst the automotive industry has responded with machines that elevate our experience of driving with designs that are distinctive, desirable, aggressive, erotic and dramatic; the litany of marque’s have fuelled our significant emotional need with unique, entrancing forms that grasp our intense passion for innovation and styling which excite and capture our hearts and minds.

The road trip, full of sensory delights, has long been the inspiration to many a writer, artist or photographer, however, in ‘Dangerous Curves’, Sarah takes the viewer on a classic car voyage of excellence, revealing her edit of provocative machines. Shot to print, conceived as enormous images, Sarah has spent thousands of hours and travelled thousands of miles to photograph some of the most iconic and rare dream machines, meeting their guardians and collecting their stories.
