About the artist:
FAKE, a famous street artist based in Amsterdam, started his artistic journey in 2005. Using stencils, he quickly gained fame on the global street art scene. FAKE has left his mark on the walls of cities all over the world, including New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Los Angeles, Madrid, Copenhagen, Oslo, Bangkok, and more. A quick Google search for “iamfake" or “FAKE Stencils" will reveal a rich collection of his works and videos spanning over a decade.
FAKE's works, made from stencils and graffiti, are highly sought after. Exhibitions at PAN in Amsterdam and collaborative gallery releases are sold out. His works grace the collections of renowned institutions such as the Rabobank Collection, as well as those of celebrities, athletes and musicians. FAKE's works have been added to the Library of Congress and are exhibited in leading museums such as the Straat Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Miniature Museum and the Noordbrabants Museum. His works have also been sold at prestigious auction houses such as Sotheby's, Christie's, Bonhams and Heritage Auctions.

Fake is a Dutch artist currently living and working in Amsterdam.
Having grown up in a gray and boring environment, Fake quickly felt the urgency to bring smiles to the people around him through humorous and ironic art. He then discovered the power of stencils and became fascinated by this new medium.
Fake has a very clear and precise base of images with which he has always worked. His very colorful creations represent icons of daily life and the pop imagination, a little provocative, they always contain a good dose of humor and irony.
Fake's work is presented in various exhibitions in several galleries around the world, from Holland to Iran via the United States, Denmark and Germany.
