In "Drawings, Panoramas 2025", Christelle Lenci unfolds a world where bodies become landscapes, desire turns into terrain, and ink transforms into something almost alive. Her Chinese-ink drawings pulse with both tenderness and violence, blurring the line between erotic energy and raw physical instinct. Through powerful, elongated silhouettes and fevered compositions, Lenci examines sensuality not as decoration, but as force — unrestrained, self-consuming, and defiantly feminine.

Christelle Lenci’s drawings are built from ink that seems to breathe, spill, and throb. The figures — women whose limbs stretch like roots, flames, or blades of night — are not passive subjects but beings radiating agency. They devour, merge, spill into one another, forming a dense visual forest where flesh becomes landscape and desire becomes climate. Their bodies bend, twist, and overlap, creating panoramas of erotic intensity that feel both intimate and mythic.

The works echo what Pierre Vavasseur once described: “ink that tears the night,” women emerging from their own depths, driven by hunger, pleasure, and sovereignty. Lenci’s figures have something of the wolf, the demon, the dreamer — yet never the victim. They bleed, but the blood is theirs to command. They consume, but never to disappear. Their pleasure is not a response; it’s an origin point.
