Description
Wall hangings on the back. This creation combines sculpture and contemporary design. It consists of circular mirrors arranged in oval shape on a bright blue background, creating depth and dynamism. Each mirror reflects a fragment of the surrounding space, adding an immersive dimension to the work.
In the centre, figures of dolphins carved from blue translucent material seem to swim through the mirrors. The largest dolphin is in the center, surrounded by the smallest, forming a harmonious circular movement.
The work juxtaposes natural and modern elements, with mirrors reflecting light as the changing reflections of the sea. This composition evokes the relationship between man and nature, while inspiring calm and contemplation. Dolphins, symbols of freedom, bring a touch of life and maritime energy to this unique work.
Presentation
Léa Dedieu, a young designer, graduated from the Toulouse School of Fine Arts, creates objects and furnishes spaces. Fascinated by color, she draws her inspiration from the work of the Impressionists, Pop culture, the acid reflections of Maurizio Cattelan and contemporary designers, Pierre Charpin, Bertjan Pot or Marcel Wanders. What she likes is experimenting without material limits. Before each creation, she draws, flattens geometric shapes and measures. Between two technical drawings hides his graphic universe. Painting, pencil, watercolor, felt-tip pens, Indian ink ... All mediums are used to invent an imposing flower, a silhouette, a decoration. A complete artist, she is overflowing with creativity and the desire to create.
