Description
This intriguing work depicts a female character in a cubist style, expressed through bold lines and geometric shapes. She wears a large round hat and circular earrings, symbolizing a fusion of tradition and modernity. Her calm and mysterious gaze contrasts with the richly detailed setting in the background, where plants and books add a dimension of intellectual depth. A tattoo adorns her arm, incorporating artistic motifs that enrich the cultural interpretation of the image. The black and white accentuates the timelessness of the work, creating a play of light and shadow that captures attention. The precision of the line shows technical mastery, making this work unique and captivating. It arouses curiosity, inviting us to explore the dialogue between past and present, tradition and innovation, through the prism of bold and thoughtful visual art.
Presentation
FROM CHAOS TO THE LIVING BEING
When I paint or draw, I start from chaos, I begin to paint spontaneously simple elements, forms, lines, surfaces arranged without preconceived ideas on the canvas. These elements intertwine, associate and give birth to complex forms. I reveal then by drawing on this bottom: figures, members, bodies, objects.
This creates diversified characters, which come from the chaos and inscribe their reality. It is a spontaneous, physical and spiritual act.
