Working drawing for the sculpture project.

Drawing is an integral part of my research into forms. In each project, it plays as important a role as clay models in defining the forms.

The Metamorphs project brings together three monumental sculptures: dance, demand and tiresias, around the transformation of the body, shifting identities and forms of resistance.
Made from pallet wood, these works explore metamorphosis as a space of freedom, fragility and power.

Two forces in flux. Two bodies bound together in a single uprising. Between embrace, struggle, and tenderness, this hybrid form questions the nature of a vulnerable, protective, and fluid masculinity. An organic presence that rejects definitive labels and gives rise to a gentle, intimate, and collective power. They resist. They stand together. They dance. Between Brancusi and Superman, between love and mourning, the sculpture becomes a space where the political meets the poetic.

To support the project, a crowdfunding campaign has been launched.
