Description

Lyrics. OG-26006: Quiet Green Meadow Artwork in a Black Frame

Green landscape artwork collectors are invited to consider "Lyrics. OG-26006" (11 × 13 × 0.1 cm / 4.33 × 5.12 × 0.04 in) by Sasha Snegir. This unique oil pastel work on paper opens onto a green field bordered by dark trees and low hills. A vast pale sky fills most of the image, balancing the saturated land with soft, diffuse light.

The artwork belongs to the Lyrics series, where nature becomes a language of feeling. Olive green, earthy brown, black, and gray-white create a quiet, slightly solitary atmosphere. The simplified trees and open center suggest distance, while visible pastel marks keep the scene immediate. It feels less like a record of one view than a fragment of landscape held in memory.

A cardboard mat and black MDF frame surround the image; the framed work measures 35 × 35 × 2 cm (13.78 × 13.78 × 0.79 in). The artist’s signature appears on the back. Its small scale encourages unhurried looking and appeals to collectors of personal, expressive artworks. A natural fit for modern interiors, a bedroom, or a reading corner, it also makes an ideal gift for someone who values nature and quiet reflection.

Presentation

Sasha Snegir (b. 1988, Minsk, Belarus) is a Belarusian artist and curator whose practice spans painting, drawing, installation, performative objects, and multisensory art. Since 2016, she has participated in more than 40 group exhibitions, presented nine solo exhibitions, and curated six exhibition projects. Her work has been shown at the Museum of Russian Art in Yerevan, the State Darwin Museum in Moscow, the National Center for Contemporary Arts and Palace of Arts in Minsk, and internationally in Germany, Italy, Hungary, Armenia, France, and Spain.

At the center of Sasha Snegir’s practice is unconditional love, understood not as a subject but as a way of paying attention to ourselves, others, and the world around us. She explores perception, memory, emotional transformation, relationships, and the shift from observation toward presence.

Sasha Snegir developed FRAIMMart, an original methodology combining painting with natural essential oils, stones, symbolic elements, and other materials. Visual, olfactory, tactile, and symbolic experiences become parts of a single work, allowing art to operate beyond sight alone.

Across intimate portraits, landscapes, objects, and installations, Sasha Snegir creates spaces for personal encounter rather than fixed interpretation. Her work asks how art can move from something we simply look at toward something we physically and emotionally experience.
