Hope comes from above, 2022

Ziad Dib Jreige

A dramatic mountain peak pierces a swirling sky. This oil painting captures a moment of profound spiritual ascent. The artist blends a poetic sensibility with a bold visual language. Vibrant purples and soft pinks dance across the clouds. These hues contrast with the stark white of the snowy slopes. Below the summit, a quiet village nestles in the shadows. Small white rooftops emerge from a dark forest of pines. The composition creates a powerful tension between the earthly realm and the celestial heights. Each brushstroke feels intentional and rhythmic. The scene transcends a simple landscape to become an intellectual meditation. It invites the viewer into a space of deep contemplation. Light filters through the atmosphere with a mystical quality. This artwork explores the intersection of realism and fantasy. The Lebanese creator utilizes his background in literature to infuse the canvas with narrative depth. The resulting image is a fusion of visual art and silent poetry. The gaze is drawn upward toward the jagged silhouette of the mountain. This vertical movement evokes a sense of longing and renewal. The piece concludes with a focus on the soft glow of a single window in the valley.

When despair and sadness chain our ability to keep moving forward, an inner motivator serves as a reminder of the spiritual extension in us. A elevation of thought and sight, can bring hope back, and rejuvenate our will.-Z.D.J
