Description
During this period, from 2009 to 2011, Sabine Louriac painted several works on paper, where her expressionism combined with her cubist way led to her own version of the “Figuration Libre”.
It is indeed, with humor and spontaneity, that Sabine Louriac expresses here in her own graphic cadence and her dynamics of a perfect chromaticism, sketches of life, with duets of characters, which, in a recurring way , are both in osmosis and in opposition.
By assigning to her work a song title borrowed from the repertoire of G.Brassens, this duality is then ironically underlined by a local touch from the city of Sète, where she is permanently represented by the “Galerie Plurielle”

Presentation
Sabine Louriac is a French artist born on November 12, 1954 in Castres in the Tarn.
At the age of 10, she started practicing drawing and later on became passionate about painting. She got a training in painting at first autodidactically before working in the workshop of Brienne with Jean Louis Engels until 1994. She then enrolled in open courses at the School of Fine Arts of Toulouse with Rémi Peyranne.
A versitile artist he draws his inspiration from raw art to cubism; from Matisse to Modigliani, from Picasso to Chagall, Sabine Louriac's paintings depict mostly female personages, strange and almost anthropomorphism with a colorful and bright color pallette.
