Description
3STRASH
"Butterfly" by Alexander Strashevich is an abstract composition characterized by soft, flowing shapes and a harmonious palette of purples, pinks, and lilacs. The rhythmic, curving lines and layered patterns evoke the delicate and ethereal nature of a butterfly, symbolizing transformation, freedom, and fragility. The abstract forms give the viewer a sense of movement, resembling wings in flight, and suggest the butterfly's ephemeral presence. Through this painting, Strashevich explores the fleeting beauty of change, inviting contemplation on the impermanence of moments and the continuous evolution of life. The subtle interplay of light and shadow within the shapes emphasizes the balance between stillness and motion, reinforcing the transformative theme of the artwork.

His works show a plastic connection between sculpture and painting. He prefers abstract and postmodern styles, although he also writes realistic works.
