History of the work:

This work depicts a view of the rocks at the tip of the Port d'Alon in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, through this complex tangle of deep blue branches. The sinuous lines create a striking contrast between the dynamism of the foreground and the tranquility of the background. The delicate, almost abstract details of the branches invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a dreamlike world. The watercolor technique is used, lending the whole a lightness and softness. The play of light and shadow adds depth to the composition.

This work fuses abstraction and reality, creating a landscape that is both recognizable and enigmatic, offering each viewer a personal interpretation.
