Description
This captivating work depicts a stylized human figure within a huge spiral of wood in brown and natural tones that here represent the waves of water. The central figure, of striking simplicity, contrasts with the intricate details of the spiral, creating a visual and symbolic balance. The sculpted bust stands out with its contrasting white color. The concentric rings are the rings of a tree trunk, symbolizing the passage of time and the connection to nature. The integration of the individual at the heart of this circular form emphasizes the harmony between human and environment. The texture and color of the wood bring warmth and authenticity, while the refined and modern silhouette of the character adds a contemporary dimension. This juxtaposition reinforces the idea of the coexistence of tradition and modernity. The minimalist and symbolic character of the composition makes the work both mysterious and deeply meaningful, inviting reflection on our relationship with the natural world. This piece is an eloquent testimony to the harmony between art and nature.
Presentation
Behind the nickname Oak Oak, lies a young street artist born in Saint-Etienne.
Since 2006 Oak Oak has chosen the urban world as his favorite playground and place of inspiration, exhibition and creation for his artwork. In his passage through all the cities that cross his way, he leaves his trace, borrowed from geek culture.
Oak Oak conceives his work according to the environment, in fact, the street is not only an inspiration for him but above all his support, he likes to transform the elements, facilities, trash bins, traffic lights etc, nothing escapes from him.
Oak Oak creates pieces that are a combination of humor and urban poetry.
