Description
This work depicts a striking vision of the Eiffel Tower, emerging from a misty horizon. The gray and white palette evokes a melancholic atmosphere, enhanced by the vibrant glow of a red umbrella lying in the foreground. This bold contrast between the umbrella's vivid color and the monochrome background heightens the work's emotional intensity. The tower's delicate lines stand out elegantly, symbolizing Paris's iconic architecture. The umbrella, evoking a moment of solitude or poetry, is strategically placed on a white paving stone, adding a textured dimension to the whole. This skillful juxtaposition captures the essence of the City of Lights in a surprising and moving light. The artist successfully combines simplicity and depth, offering a modern and captivating interpretation of the Parisian landscape.
Presentation
Mosaics, an art form dating back thousands of years (4000 BC), has crossed the centuries and continents. Its infinite possibilities allow me to express my feelings of the moment.
Playing with materials and textures, colours, shapes and transparency; the infinite play of light on the material and the reflections it produces; diverting materials and using what nature offers us, but also encounters and travels... are all real and inexhaustible sources of inspiration for me, making each a unique piece.
