Description
This bold work fuses elements of Cubism and modern art to create a complex and dynamic portrait. The deconstructed geometric forms, combined with a vibrant color palette, lend a palpable energy to the image. The asymmetrical face, with its disproportionate eyes and angular features, immediately captures the viewer's attention, evoking a multitude of conflicting emotions. The vibrant, textured green background frames the figure like a mysterious aura. Graphic elements, such as wavy lines and repeating patterns, add depth and movement to the composition. The bold use of primary colors juxtaposes chaos and harmony, creating a captivating visual tension. This painting, with its avant-garde character, invites the viewer to explore the multiple facets of human identity and perception. A truly unique work that challenges and questions.
Presentation
At the age of 10, she started practicing drawing and later on became passionate about painting. She got a training in painting at first autodidactically before working in the workshop of Brienne with Jean Louis Engels until 1994. She then enrolled in open courses at the School of Fine Arts of Toulouse with Rémi Peyranne.
A versitile artist he draws his inspiration from raw art to cubism; from Matisse to Modigliani, from Picasso to Chagall, Sabine Louriac's paintings depict mostly female personages, strange and almost anthropomorphism with a colorful and bright color pallette.
