Description
With Golden Afternoon, Lviv, Igor Galan captures the serene warmth of a city resting beneath soft, glimmering light. The air vibrates with gentle colour – yellows merge into muted blues and violet shadows. His brush moves swiftly yet thoughtfully, recording the rhythm of an afternoon when time appears suspended.
Every façade and rooftop in Galan's composition radiates life. His fine sense of balance between geometry and spontaneity allows the viewer to sense the pulse of the city without losing its stillness. The impressionistic layering of paint creates depth and texture, as if sunlight and pigment were woven together.
A leading figure in contemporary Ukrainian realism, Igor Galan transforms his plein-air studies into meditations on transience and peace. Golden Afternoon, Lviv offers collectors a rare fusion of classical skill and sensory lyricism.
