Paysage de la révélation, 2016

Eric Winzenried

This captivating work embodies the essence of a blazing dawn. A harmonious gradient of warm colors—deep red, incandescent orange, and vibrant yellow—unfolds in a visual symphony, leading the eye toward an intense glow on the horizon. The juxtaposition of dark and light hues creates a dramatic tension, evoking the transition between night and day. Precise and meticulously layered brushstrokes add rich texture, lending the painting striking depth. The fragmented touches of oil paint that I patiently juxtaposed enhance the vibrating effect of the color. These combined elements infuse the work with a vital energy, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in this fusion of light and color. This abstract landscape, remarkable for its simplicity and emotional power, embodies a contemplative experience, celebrating the ephemeral beauty of the natural moment. The work thus becomes a visual homage to the majesty of the cycles of day.
