Description
This intriguing painting features a sleek black cat against a backdrop of a deep red curtain. The cat's piercing yellow eyes instantly capture the viewer's gaze, adding a mysterious depth to the work. In the background, a subtly visible starry sky lends a magical, dreamlike dimension to the scene. The carefully balanced composition and strategic use of light and shadow highlight the artist's technical skill. Every detail, from the twinkling stars to the folds of the curtain, is executed with precision, contributing to the painting's enigmatic atmosphere. A work that invites contemplation and imagination, merging mystery and beauty.

flat areas of colour, are outlined and edged in black. The black outlines emphasise the shapes and can suggest darkness…
