Description
This captivating artwork depicts a vibrant and dynamic city at night. Buildings with multicolored facades stand proudly beneath a deep and mysterious starry sky. The illuminated windows create a mesmerizing interplay of light and color, revealing a bustling urban life despite the darkness. Each window seems to tell a different story, adding a narrative dimension to the scene. The artist successfully captures the city's nocturnal energy using bold contrasts and a richly nuanced palette. The subtle stars in the sky create a harmony between nature and urban life, lending the work a striking visual balance. This painting invites the viewer to contemplate the beauty and complexity of urban life, transforming a simple cityscape into a poetic and immersive reflection.

The roof element is often highlighted by the colour red and/or the pattern of the tiles. The colours, applied in
flat areas of colour, are outlined and edged in black. The black outlines emphasise the shapes and can suggest darkness…
