Description
Inspired by the dramatic imagery of the 2018 G7 summit, this contemporary oil artwork transforms a tense diplomatic moment into a surreal gathering of feline characters. Instead of political leaders, the scene features cats in suits surrounding a negotiation table, each one displaying a unique personality and emotional expression.
The artist's fascination with cats allows her to explore human behavior through animal symbolism. Their attentive gazes, rigid posture, and subtle gestures mirror the dynamics of power and diplomacy while introducing a layer of humor and irony.
Blending satire, storytelling, and surreal figurative art, the composition invites viewers to reconsider political theater from a different perspective. Rich textures and atmospheric lighting create depth and intrigue, making the piece both visually captivating and intellectually engaging.
Ideal for modern interiors and creative environments, this artwork also makes a unique gift for collectors, cat enthusiasts, and admirers of witty contemporary art.
Shipped rolled in a tube for secure transit.

Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous contemporary art salons, cultural events and international exhibitions, including Art en Capital in Paris, as well as exhibitions in Cannes and other European cities.
Larissa Mayorova is also a laureate of the Fondation Taylor in Paris and has received recognition from the Société des Artistes Français.
Known for her atmospheric paintings exploring mist, reflections, textured surfaces and poetic symbolism, Larissa Mayorova creates dreamlike visual worlds suspended between memory, perception and imagination.
Inspired by the landscapes surrounding Lake Geneva, Venice, water, birch forests, mist and changing light, her work combines experimentation with materials and textures alongside emotional and symbolic imagery. Her paintings often explore the fragility of perception and the shifting boundary between reality and memory. Her Maine Coon cats, which are part of her everyday life, also appear as recurring poetic presences within her artistic universe.
