Description
Artwork signed on the back.
This captivating artwork presents a series of floating oval shapes, reminiscent of bowls or water lilies, rendered with remarkable delicacy. The neutral tones of beige and brown, accented with touches of red and white, create a striking and harmonious contrast. The downward-flowing streaks of paint intensify the sense of movement and convey a feeling of lightness and suspension. The rich texture of the canvas adds depth, inviting the viewer to explore every detail. The blurred, ethereal background enhances the dreamlike quality of the composition, offering a serene and meditative atmosphere. This work stands out for its impressionistic and abstract style, encouraging personal and contemplative interpretation. It captures an essence of escape and tranquility, transporting viewers to a space of intimate and poetic reflection.
Presentation
Of Italian origin, Lucia Diris devoted herself from a young age to painting, drawing and graphic art, studying the basics of which she studied in Urbino, at the prestigious Higher Institute of Decorative Arts (ISIA), in Italy.
After her studies, she went to France where she pursued a multifaceted career combining painting, graphic design, cinema, video, photography, ceramics….
Over the years, thanks to the knowledge gained from all these practices, his pictorial work will evolve from figuration towards an increasingly free and refined abstraction.
