Description
Abstraction is expressed here through a subtle chromatic dialogue.
The gaze traverses a composition where light seems to emerge from a dark background. A large white area, almost ethereal, structures the central space.
Around this luminous heart, touches of yellow and pink intertwine fluidly. These nuances evoke the fragility of a nocturnal nature without ever naming the form.
The oil work allows for a delicate superposition of layers. Fine, nervous lines punctuate the canvas, bringing precise graphic dynamism.
The bottom of the painting is anchored in a deep, almost abyssal blue, which stabilizes the entire scene.
The balance between the empty areas and the saturated areas creates a constant visual breath.

Presentation
Of Italian origin, Lucia Diris devoted herself from a young age to painting, drawing and graphic art, studying the basics of which she studied in Urbino, at the prestigious Higher Institute of Decorative Arts (ISIA), in Italy.
After her studies, she went to France where she pursued a multifaceted career combining painting, graphic design, cinema, video, photography, ceramics….
Over the years, thanks to the knowledge gained from all these practices, his pictorial work will evolve from figuration towards an increasingly free and refined abstraction.
