Description
I love the seaside, in the Mediterranean, I lived there as a child, long days under the sun, among the fish, the shells, the sea anemones, and all the aquatic flora and fauna that lived on the rocks, between air and water. The little human that I was drew much tenderness, emotion, play, and joy from it.
Today all that is no more. The rocks are deserted and life is jeopardized, at sea and on land. I felt the need for a tribute, tears in my eyes, to these creatures who have left. Thus this painting came.
On an unstretched canvas, like a flag, an old tapestry, the trace of a world that I loved.
Painting on canvas, fixed on a wooden stick on the upper side. Signed on the back.
Delivered rolled up.
Presentation
Of Italian origin, Lucia Diris devoted herself from a young age to painting, drawing and graphic art, studying the basics of which she studied in Urbino, at the prestigious Higher Institute of Decorative Arts (ISIA), in Italy.
After her studies, she went to France where she pursued a multifaceted career combining painting, graphic design, cinema, video, photography, ceramics….
Over the years, thanks to the knowledge gained from all these practices, his pictorial work will evolve from figuration towards an increasingly free and refined abstraction.
