Description
This artwork captures the atmosphere of Venice through a contemporary mixed media approach that merges painting, collage, and decorative design. Built in layers, the composition integrates visual fragments reminiscent of postcards, travel notes, and personal memorabilia, forming a cohesive yet dynamic structure.
Color plays a central role, with vibrant tones enhancing the sense of movement and emotional warmth. Textural elements and added embellishments introduce a tactile dimension, reinforcing the idea of the artwork as both image and object.
Rooted in the aesthetics of scrapbooking and contemporary collage, the piece reflects themes of travel, memory, and personal narrative. It is particularly suitable for interiors that embrace color and individuality, as well as for collectors seeking expressive and visually rich compositions.
Presentation
Irina: "I am full-time artist. I find my happiness in doing art. Art is a part of my soul, my energy, my vision of the world. I consider myself a multi-faceted artist, I like to experiment with materials. I realized that I can create beauty not only with paints. I create three-dimensional artworks with volumetric elements. I work in two directions: mosaic paintings and wall sculpture art. I use decorative found objects, mosaic, plaster, wood, shells, crystals, gemstones, anything that can realize my ideas. My art is full of life and joy. The main theme is a Woman, her life, thoughts, feelings, relationships with people and the world".
