What if, one day, you opened the window of your London home and saw something that seemed impossible in the world of everyday reality? Rising above the rooftops of historic buildings, among the clouds and beneath the blue sky, stands a colossal ancient goddess, as if a myth from the distant past had come to life in the heart of a modern city. Her monumental presence recalls the legendary giant statues of antiquity, including the Colossus of Rhodes, which once stood on the island of Rhodes. But perhaps this mysterious woman is more than an echo of a distant age. Perhaps she embodies the very spirit of England — its history, strength, and hidden magic.
The window plays a special role in the composition, framing this extraordinary view. It becomes a boundary between the ordinary and the miraculous, between real London, with its historic buildings, iconic red double-decker buses, bustling streets, and autumn trees, and a world where ancient deities can exist as a natural part of everyday life. The viewer seems to take the place of an unknown city dweller for whom this astonishing sight may have long since become familiar.
The painting continues the concept of the “Impossible landscapes” series, in which fantasy does not disrupt reality but exists alongside it in perfect harmony. Here, past and present do not oppose one another: an ancient myth becomes part of a modern metropolis, and the cityscape transforms into a stage for a remarkable dialogue between eras. Gradually, a sense emerges that the impossible does not always have to amaze or frighten us. Sometimes, it is simply waiting beyond the window, quietly becoming part of our own world.

Irina: "I am full-time artist. I find my happiness in doing art. Art is a part of my soul, my energy, my vision of the world. I consider myself a multi-faceted artist, I like to experiment with materials. I realized that I can create beauty not only with paints. I create three-dimensional artworks with volumetric elements. I work in two directions: mosaic paintings and wall sculpture art. I use decorative found objects, mosaic, plaster, wood, shells, crystals, gemstones, anything that can realize my ideas. My art is full of life and joy. The main theme is a Woman, her life, thoughts, feelings, relationships with people and the world".
