Presentation

Paola Vignola, a multifaceted and hyperactive artist. I was born in Italy, but I've lived in Barcelona since I was little. I'm an economist, fashion designer, writer, furniture restorer, and painter. I've always had a boundless imagination and a special flair for combining colors. I studied in Milan and Barcelona. For years I've been restoring furniture, changing its color and appearance, creating, in some cases, small works of art. I've updated and modernized so many sad, bland frames that didn't do anything for the paintings they held, that I decided to create my own pieces. On Instagram, I share the process of how I carry out some of these transformations: restauraconpaola. I try to add color and create an impact on the viewer, channeling my energy and imagination without confining myself to a specific style, although my paintings are modern, decorative, and have an innocent feel, with the aim of giving a fresh look to rooms, offices, shops, and more.
