In Jardin des mes yeux, Pascal Courcelles immerses the viewer in a dense chromatic landscape where colour, texture and gesture dissolve into a luminous field of sensation. Built through countless layered touches of oil paint, the composition unfolds as a vibrant atmospheric surface suspended between abstraction and emotional memory.

Dominated by an expansive spectrum of blues — from pale icy tones to deep cobalt and ultramarine — the work evokes the shifting perception of nature, water, sky and vegetation without ever settling into representation. Fleeting traces of lavender, white, turquoise and subtle warm accents emerge beneath the surface, creating an intricate visual vibration that continuously transforms according to distance and light.

Unlike the sculptural floral eruptions of the series, develops through accumulation and diffusion.
