Description
Original artwork by Samia Kerkeni. This piece is fully handcrafted on 100% museum cotton canvas, stretched on a solid wooden stretcher with an approximate depth of 2.5 to 3 cm.
Volcanic Memory embodies raw, primal energy — intense reds, deep blacks, golden ochres and metallic white accents merge in a powerful fluid movement. The artwork evokes molten lava, the underground force of the earth and the wild beauty of a world in transformation. In the midst of darkness, a fierce fire burns.
The artwork is signed on the front and documented on the back directly on the canvas, including the title, technique, year, size, reference number and a handwritten artistic message.
A 100% original handmade acrylic painting, created with intense acrylic pigments.
Delivered securely with gallery certificate.
Lifetime gallery guarantee and support included.
Presentation
Maria Ruisi is a contemporary artist whose work explores balance, light, and depth through abstraction and wall sculpture. Her pieces reside at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where matter comes alive to dialogue with architectural space.
Trained in arts and design in Latvia, Maria Ruisi develops a rigorous practice informed by her background in engineering and visual perception research. This dual approach provides her work with a powerful contemporary presence and profound aesthetic coherence. Each creation is a unique, hand-crafted piece, where sculpted reliefs and pigments interact with light to reveal subtle variations throughout the day. Designed as silent presences, her works enhance prestigious environments, ranging from private collections to interior design and luxury hospitality projects.
