Door 3, 2022

Nataliya Lemesheva

This oil painting captures a serene architectural sequence. The gaze is drawn inward through a series of open thresholds. A deep red floor creates a warm path. It guides the eye toward a distant light. The composition plays with symmetry and depth. Each doorway frames the next. This creates a rhythmic progression of space. Soft light washes over the white walls. It contrasts with the rich brown tones of the wooden doors. The artist explores the concept of transition. The structure suggests a journey between different realms. There is a profound sense of stillness. The atmosphere feels meditative and timeless. Every line is precise. The perspective is carefully constructed to evoke a feeling of anticipation. The artwork reflects a dialogue between interior and exterior worlds. It transforms a simple hallway into a symbolic passage. The light filtering through the upper glass panels adds a delicate touch. It illuminates the quiet geometry of the scene. The painting concludes with a soft glow at the furthest point of the corridor.
