DESCRIPTION
In Where Silence Melts, Maria Ruisi captures the moment when apparent stillness gives way to movement. Turquoise, deep teal, violet and pink currents travel across the surface, interrupted by luminous passages of white and yellow. The layered composition evokes an inner landscape in transformation, where silence dissolves and hidden energy rises through colour, matter and gesture.
Successive acrylic layers and fluid pouring movements create depth, rhythm and organic transitions. Dense passages anchor the composition, while lighter areas introduce visual breathing space. The work moves between mineral formations, flowing water and emotional abstraction without imposing a single interpretation.
Created in 2025, this unique painting reflects Maria Ruisi's exploration of texture, movement, light and the expressive potential of matter.
The surface is protected with a professional varnish formulated to provide resistance to UV exposure and ambient humidity. The artwork is delivered mounted on a solid hardwood stretcher and ready to hang.
