Manzanas y Botellas, 2026

Dolores Deloma Sanchez

A luminous atmosphere defines this still life. Soft light bathes a quiet arrangement of everyday objects. The composition balances organic forms with structured vessels. Three ripe apples anchor the foreground. Their skins glow with warm yellows and deep reds. One fruit lies open. Its pale interior reveals a delicate texture.
Beside the fruit stand two slender bottles. One radiates a soft pink hue. The other remains a deep, mysterious purple. A small bowl completes the grouping. Its crimson tones echo the ripeness of the apples.
The brushwork is tactile and expressive. Thick layers of paint create a rich surface. Dabs of color blend seamlessly into a shimmering background. This technique evokes a sense of fleeting light and air. The palette remains harmonious. Earthy tones meet ethereal highlights. The artwork captures a moment of stillness. It transforms a simple domestic scene into a poetic study of light and volume. Every stroke emphasizes the weight of the fruit and the translucency of the glass. The scene concludes with a soft focus on the textured tabletop.
