Todavía Existe, 2026

This mixed media artwork delivers a powerful social critique through raw texture and fragmented imagery. A monochromatic photograph emerges from a chaotic sea of pigment. It depicts a solitary figure in a moment of heavy labor. The stark contrast between the grayscale image and the vibrant surroundings heightens the emotional tension. Bold red strokes slash across the lower composition. They suggest urgency and pain. Deep blues and earthy greens swirl around the edges. These colors create a turbulent atmosphere of instability.
Text is integrated directly into the visual plane. The words address the tragedy of child exploitation. This typographic element anchors the piece in a specific human struggle. Layering techniques add physical depth to the surface. Scratches and impasto build a sense of erosion. The composition balances structured messaging with an explosive, abstract energy. It transforms a political statement into a visceral sensory experience. The gaze is drawn from the explicit text to the blurred edges of the canvas. Every brushstroke reinforces a narrative of suffering and resilience. The piece concludes with delicate script tucked into the right margin, adding a personal, intimate layer to the global tragedy.
