Description
Inventory ID: AAG-MR-2026-ELC-001
Edition / Set Of: Unique
Electric Crossing builds a dense architecture of color and gesture on a neutral grey ground — thin black grid lines establish structural order, disrupted by bold diagonal black brushwork and a vivid band of burnt orange cutting across the canvas. Blocks of electric blue, ivory, and hot pink punctuate the composition like signals caught mid-transmission.
Markings: Signed on the front ("R.Maria"). Reverse bears technique, year, dimensions, edition number, and artist signature.
Size Notes: Unframed. Framing available on request, color subject to availability.
Presentation
Maria Ruisi is a contemporary artist whose work explores balance, light, and depth through abstraction and wall sculpture. Her pieces reside at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where matter comes alive to dialogue with architectural space.
Trained in arts and design in Latvia, Maria Ruisi develops a rigorous practice informed by her background in engineering and visual perception research. This dual approach provides her work with a powerful contemporary presence and profound aesthetic coherence. Each creation is a unique, hand-crafted piece, where sculpted reliefs and pigments interact with light to reveal subtle variations throughout the day. Designed as silent presences, her works enhance prestigious environments, ranging from private collections to interior design and luxury hospitality projects.
