Description
Urban art takes over an urban landscape to transform the city into a chromatic playground.
The style is inspired by the codes of Pop Art and contemporary graphic culture.
The artist superimposes graffiti and stylized lettering on iconic monuments.
This approach diverts the notion of vandalism to offer a joyful and saturated vision of public space.
The contrast between classical architecture and the energy of street art creates a dynamic visual dialogue.
The composition plays on the accumulation of details and urban signs that rhythmically structure the reading of the image.
The sharp rendering of the digigraph emphasizes the precision of the color blocks.
This limited edition, created in 2026, captures the effervescence of a reinvented metropolis.
The whole unfolds in a luminous palette where blue and orange dominate the scene.
Presentation
Maxime Blachère is an atypical artist from Savoy, now living near Lyon and present in 25 countries and several art galleries in Europe and the US. Maxime Blachère's universe is filled with humor and saturated colors.
Self-taught and versatile, his sources of inspiration are multiple. Comics, pop culture, photography and of course Street-art.In phase with the Fluxus movement, he uses and mixes the codes of the environments that inspires him and of the artists he meets to give free rein to his imagination and deliver offbeat works, sometimes naive, sometimes subversive, like his series of works "Vandal is color" where Maxime takes pleasure in virtually vandalizing urban landscapes around the world.
