Description
Urban art takes over an emblematic figure of popular culture here. The artist deconstructs the silhouette through a rigorous accumulation of white dots. This process creates a fascinating visual play. Depending on the distance, the image oscillates between geometric abstraction and the immediate recognition of the character.
The deep blue background structures the space. Diagonal lines and dark shades bring an architectural depth to the composition. The use of acrylic ensures a sharp and precise rendering.

Since 2018, Warren Podguszer, known under the pseudonym Wawapod, has immersed himself in the world of Pop Art and Street Art in Paris, developing a unique style that fuses geometry and popular iconography. His work is distinguished by the reuse of emblematic icons through accumulations of dots, paying homage to the history of art and to popular figures he admires.
In addition to its studio work, Wawapod intervenes in public spaces, notably by writing its message "hello love always" on city sidewalks, thus adding a touch of poetry and optimism to the urban environment.
One of the most fascinating aspects of his work lies in the creation of double readings. By superimposing images within the dots, he allows his works to reveal an initial abstract image that becomes figurative with distance.
