Description
Marine art is expressed here with delicate precision. A yellow seahorse stands out against a blue azure background. The line is sharp. The animal's posture evokes the serenity of the seabed.
The artist uses acrylic to translate the transparency of the water. The brushstrokes create a light relief on the creature's body. Some algae stretch out to the right to anchor the composition in its natural environment.
This figurative painting favors clarity and harmony. The light seems to pass through the liquid surface to illuminate the central subject. The contrast between the luminous yellow and the deep blue emphasizes the grace of the species.
The quick execution of the material allows to capture the present moment. The whole exudes an impression of calm and freedom. This canvas made in 2026 captures the fragile essence of aquatic life. The white frame emphasizes the purity of the colors used.
Presentation
Born in 1960 in Machecoul, Loire-Atlantique, my favorite places to relax are the beaches of the Jade Coast. Since childhood, I've loved drawing and learned painting techniques from a teacher who graduated from the Académie Française. From the age of 18, I've been exhibiting and winning awards.
By discovering diving, I created my seabeds, hence my Artist name: Syrène
I am respectful of animal protection and the natural environment. My creations allow me to express my desires for space, freedom, balance, and the beauty of nature. With quality acrylic paint and medium, I have acquired an ease of working in the present moment, with faster drying.
My passion for marine animals and the many transparent and iridescent colors allow me to create the depths of the sea, beaches and gentle or tumultuous waves.
I have exhibited at numerous exhibitions and competitions, in France and internationally.
